Overview

Window Connect is a B2B referral platform that connects window cleaning professionals with local window repair companies. As part of our lead verification process, we send a one-time SMS message to homeowners to confirm their consent before sharing their contact information with a repair company.

How Consent Is Collected

Consent is collected through a two-step verification process:

  1. In-person verbal agreement: A window cleaning professional identifies a window issue at a homeowner's property and explains that they can connect them with a local repair company for a free quote. The homeowner verbally agrees. The cleaner then submits a lead through our platform, confirming via two required checkboxes:
    • “I confirm that I have the customer's permission to share their information with a repair company for the purpose of scheduling a service appointment.”
    • “I confirm that the homeowner has agreed to receive a text message to connect with [Company Name] regarding this service.”
  2. SMS opt-in confirmation: After the lead is submitted, the homeowner receives a single SMS message asking them to reply YES to confirm they want to be connected with the repair company. The lead is only shared with the repair company after the homeowner explicitly replies YES.

Message Content

The homeowner receives one message in the following format:

“[Cleaner Name] noticed a window issue at your property and would like to connect you with [Company Name] for a free service quote. Reply YES to share your contact info and allow [Company Name] to reach out by call or text about this issue. Reply STOP to decline. Msg & data rates may apply.”

Message Frequency

Homeowners receive a maximum of one (1) SMS message per lead submission. This is a one-time verification message, not a recurring messaging program. No marketing or promotional messages are ever sent.

Opt-Out

Homeowners can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once opted out, no further messages will be sent. Additionally, if the homeowner does not reply YES, their information is never shared and no follow-up messages are sent. Unanswered consent requests automatically expire.

Data Privacy

Phone numbers and personal information are only shared with the matched repair company after the homeowner replies YES. We do not sell, rent, or share consumer phone numbers or personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. All consent interactions are logged for compliance and audit purposes.

Carriers & Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on the homeowner's mobile carrier and plan. Window Connect is not responsible for any carrier charges.
